Joseph G. DellaPenta Jr., age 70, passed away at his home in Knowlesville, N.Y., on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025 with his devoted wife, Joy, by his side.

Born in Buffalo, N.Y., Joe lived a life of service, dedication, and love. A proud U.S. Army Ranger veteran, he honorably served his country through two wars and numerous special missions, earning the respect and admiration of his fellow soldiers. His commitment to duty and Country defined not only his military career but the way he lived his life. Though much of his service and experiences remained private, he had a remarkable ability to share the right memory at the right moment, illuminating the bonds formed during his years in uniform.
