A Rochester man admitted on Thursday that he fatally shot the owner of a corner store in March.
Tony C. Brown on Oct. 9 pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter, a felony, in Monroe County Court for the shooting death of Ali Saleh, 30, inside Sanaa Food Market on Clifford Avenue on March 23, according to the Monroe County District Attorney's Office. Saleh was working behind the counter when he was shot multiple times at close range, according to Rochester police. He died at Strong Memorial Hospital the following day.
