LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the FBI Little Rock’s field office released statistics on Thursday for its three-month “Summer Heat” operation.
FBI officials said 90 arrests were made as part of the agency’s nationwide push to crush violent crime. Special agents collaborated with state and local law enforcement to make the arrests between June 24 and September 20, officials said.
In Arkansas, the 90 arrests resulted in 24 indictments and 15 convictions, officials stated. In addition, they said law enforcement officers conducted 37 drug seizures and recovered 32 firearms.
