New Delhi: Breastfeeding is the cornerstone of newborn nutrition and mother-baby bonding. However, for some women, it can come with unexpected challenges—one of which is the overproduction of breast milk, also known as hyperlactation syndrome. Though it receives less attention than issues like low milk supply, hyperlactation can actually cause significant discomfort and complications for both mother and baby.
