BEREA — The words said everything for Browns cornerback Denzel Ward .

A little more than 12 hours earlier, Cleveland traded cornerback Greg Newsome II to the Jacksonville Jaguars , along with a 2026 sixth-round pick, for cornerback Tyson Campbell and a 2024 seventh-round pick. It was a move Ward was still processing a day later.
