The Seahawks signed nose tackle Brandon Pili on Thursday, adding him to the 53-man roster after he spent the first five weeks of the season on the practice squad.

Receiver Cody White was released to make room on the roster, and as a vested veteran who is not subject to waivers, White was subsequently signed back to the practice squad.

Pili, who went undrafted out of USC in 2023, spent his rookie season and part of 2024 in Miami, appearing in 12 games, before joining the Seahawks last November.

Pili was elevated off the practice squad to play in Seattle's games against Pittsburgh, Arizona and Tampa Bay, using up all of his allowed practice squad elevations, meaning that he had to be signed to the 53 man roster to play this Sunday or in future games this season.
