ORLANDO, Fla. — A federal judge on Thursday ordered a 29-year-old-man charged with sparking what eventually became the deadly Palisades Fire in California to be held without bond.
Jonathan Rinderknecht, a 29-year-old man living in West Melbourne, Fla., remains in federal custody after he was arrested Tuesday. He is currently charged with malicious destruction by means of a fire , which carries a minimum sentence of five years in prison.
