ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A major voting system at the center of multiple lawsuits has been sold to a St. Louis-based company Thursday afternoon. The company is Dominion Voting Systems, and if you visit the system’s webpage of www.dominionvotingsystems.com, it redirects you to LibertyVote.com.

This voting system is being rebranded as Liberty Vote. This was purchased by Scott Leiendecker, who previously served as the Republican director for the St. Louis Board of Elections. According to a release, Liberty Vote is focused on restoring trust in electronic voting.

“With Liberty Vote, we are building on that legacy. We are turning the page and beginning the vital work of restoring faith in American elections,” Leiendecker said in a statement.
