KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy has been a frequent figure on the team’s injury report so far this season.

The second-year wideout was injured in Week 1 when he collided with tight end Travis Kelce and has recently been listed on the injury report with shoulder and ankle injuries.

Thursday, Worthy did not practice with the Chiefs due to those injuries, the team said. A day earlier, he was listed as a full participant.

Every other player on the Chiefs’ active 53-man roster was a full participant in practice, according to the injury report.

Worthy’s ankle injury was first announced Sunday as the Chiefs traveled to Jacksonville. He still played in the Week 5 game and had six receptions for 42 yards in the Chiefs’ loss.
