KILLEEN, Texas — UPDATE: (11:48 p.m.) The Killeen Police Department has confirmed that the suspect has been located and apprehended.

The Killeen Police Department asked residents in the 1800 block of Cedar Lane to stay inside and avoid the area, if possible, while a search was underway.

Police posted the alert on social media at 4:47 p.m., stating that law enforcement is searching for Jonathan David Burr, who reportedly has a weapon in possession. Burr was described as a white man with red hair who was last seen wearing black shorts with a white stripe on each side and wearing a white t-shirt. Police believe him to be 25 years old.
