LAWERENCE COUNTY, Ohio. (WSAZ) - A school in the area is working to nurture meaningful relationships between dads and their kids.
Fairland West joined the national organization, called the “All Pro Dad” program.
Ryan Leger is a father at the school. He attends this program with his son, Eli.
“I think it’s an important thing,” Leger said. “I think it’s really cool that we all get to sit down together and have that moment that’s just 30 minutes to an hour, but I think it’s really important. I think we can all grow together. The kids, the dads, all of us.”
The school invites dads and their kids to attend monthly breakfast, where the group participates in activities centered around different topics.
