BEAVER COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — A new fire start was reported today in Fishlake National Forest in Beaver County, and it is currently estimated at 10 acres in size.
According to Utah Fire Info, the Wildcat Fire is 10 acres in size, and it is burning in Fishlake National Forest in "challenging, inaccessible terrain." The cause is still under investigation and has not been determined yet.
Local fire engines and initial attack resources are already on scene.
Smoke may be visible from I-70 and I-15, so if you see smoke, Utah Fire Info is asking that you do not report it because they are aware of the fire.
