A man had reportedly attacked innocent members of the public 'with a gardening tool' near a college in Bradford on Thursday (October 9).
A man was arrested near to Bradford College after two people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the incident. He had been detained by college security staff, West Yorkshire Police said.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at 9.21am, with the area later taped off by police. A small gardening tool was later seized.

The suspect, in his 30s, was taken into custody on suspicion of assaulting two members of the public and two emergency workers, as well as a racially-aggravated public order offence and causing damage to a police vehicle.
