Thursday evening update: For the rest of today and heading into Friday, the main story is simple: it’s going to be cool, dry, and breezy. That strong northeast wind is making things feel pretty brisk for this time of year. If you're planning on heading out to the lake, be aware that a Lake Wind Advisory is in place through Friday at 11 p.m. for our central and eastern counties. That means it's going to be quite choppy out on the water, so be extra careful!
The good news is that the air is much less humid than it has been. You might want to grab the light jacket if you are heading out late tonight or early tomorrow with temperatures in the low to mid 50s. That persistent breeze will actually keep temperatures from dropping too low by keeping the air mixed up.
