The Philadelphia Eagles entered their Thursday Night Football matchup as 7.5-point road favorites against the New York Giants.
This was supposed to be a get-right game for the Birds against a team that’s been one of the very worst in the NFL for years now.
A team that the Eagles have especially owned for a long time.
Instead, the Eagles got bullied and blown out.

The Eagles didn’t look ready to play from the jump, going down 13 to 3. To their credit, they did fight back to go up 17 to 13.
But Vic Fangio’s defense continued to struggle and the offense went extremely cold once again, just like it has for prolonged stretches throughout this season.
