CALHOUN COUNTY, Iowa -- An Iowa man has been charged for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman back in September.
On September 8, court records say that 49-year-old Anthony Edwin Bacon and the victim met up at a gas station. According to a criminal complaint, Bacon forced the victim into his truck and then locked the doors and drove off onto a nearby gravel road. When Bacon stopped the truck, a criminal complaint says he sexually assaulted the victim.
The criminal complaint also accuses Bacon of sending photos of the assault to multiple people.
Bacon was arrested and charged with first-degree kidnapping in September. Court records show that Bacon waived his preliminary hearing and has pled not guilty to the charge in early October. He is currently out on pretrial release.
