A Georgia man was arrested for aggravated child molestation, the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance with a shot fired call come in on September 16. While no one was hurt, evidence of possible molestation was uncovered.

Detectives launched an investigation the next day, collecting physical evidence. On September 18, 55-year-old Christopher Joel Jackson was arrested and charged with aggravated child molestation and related offenses.

Jackson remains in the Gordon County Jail pending bond.
