ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WIS) - The FBI is now assisting the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) in its investigation into the shootings on the South Carolina State University campus during homecoming weekend.

FBI officials tell WIS they are enhancing and analyzing videos submitted through their online tip portal to help investigators identify a suspect in the shooting that killed 19-year-old Jaliyah Butler . Those videos are being processed at FBI labs in Virginia using advanced technology to provide a clearer view of the scene.

Witness video from the night of the shooting shows dozens of law enforcement vehicles responding as crowds scrambled to safety. University President Alexander Conyers said more than 200 officers were stationed throughout campus that night.
