ST. LOUIS — Someone launched a blow dart outside a south side restaurant Wednesday night, hitting a woman's box of leftovers as she was leaving the eatery, police said.
"She heard a loud pop and then something impacted her leftover box," city police spokesman Mitch McCoy said. "That blow dart was embedded inside."
The incident took place around 8 p.m. outside La Catrina, a Mexican restaurant in the 5200 block of Hampton Avenue, McCoy said.
The woman wasn't injured but the incident was considered an assault by detectives.
