AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Williamson County Sheriff's Office arrested a man in connection with a recent break-in at a church in Liberty Hill.

According to the sheriff's office, Gregory Dwayne Vaden, 45, was arrested and charged with burglary and is being held in the Travis County Jail on "unrelated burglary charges filed by the Austin Police Department."

Last week, WCSO posted about the break-in on social media, asking the public for help identifying the suspect. The break-in happened at Vintage Church on Sunday, Sept. 28.

The incident was the latest of a string of church break-ins in the Austin metro. Back in September, there were break-ins at Trinity Anglican Church in Jonestown and Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Lago Vista. The Travis County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) is helping invest
