While dismissing petition seeking restriction on protests on Kannada Rajyotsava , High Court says no order can be passed to prevent people from protesting with prior relevant permissions

The Karnataka High Court on Thursday disposed of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking to restrain the Maharashtra Ekikarana Samiti (MES) from observing or publicising ‘black day’ on Kannada Rajyotsava (November 1) in Belagavi or any other Kannada-speaking region.
