SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

The Oak Park Black Film Festival is currently taking place in Sacramento's Oak Park district, celebrating African American stories and showcasing the work of Black filmmakers.

“We're bringing some great talent through cinema to our community. That's going to be enlightening, educational and entertaining,” said Cassandra Jennings, president and CEO of St. Hope.

The festival features films by African American filmmakers over six days, providing an opportunity for audiences to engage with the films and participate in discussions afterward.
