The Michigan State basketball program will look much different in the 2024-25 season. One notable departure is forward Xavier Booker.
Booker played two seasons at Michigan State for Tom Izzo with five starts. In 2024-25, Booker averaged just under 13 minutes a game and 4.7 points with 2.2 rebounds, but he was expected to take a step forward this year and beyond in East Lansing.
In the offseason, Booker left Michigan State and transferred to UCLA , so he stays in the Big Ten Conference and heads to Los Angeles to play for Mick Cronin.
During Big Ten media days on Thursday, Izzo spoke about Booker's exit and admitted it wasn't easy to see him leave, via Ben Bolch of The Los Angeles Times
