Around 6:45 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing in the 2800 block of Rio Linda Boulevard. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man with at least one stab wound. SPD said it provided the man with emergency aid before he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to SPD, the incident happened in a homeless camp nearby. No suspects were arrested, and the incident remains under investigation.
