WREX — The Girls of Harlem Flag Football came into Thursday Night's Regional Final against Lakes, determined to keep winning and keep their season alive after last year's second round exit to Guilford.

Even after trailing 7-0 for most of the first half, the Lady Huskies would not give up.

A hook and ladder play from Giada Nowling to Mel Ellis who flipped it to Hari Young, got Harlem on the board at the end of the half.

Nowling threw a beautiful touchdown pass to Taelor Washington to extend the lead at 12-7.

Nowling added another touchdown pass when she found Hailey Murath for an easy six points that made it 20-7 after the one point conversion.
