SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana held its annual McDazzle Featuring Kilts for Kids fundraiser on Thursday night.

WNDU’s Lauren Moss and Joshua Short emceed the gala and silent auction.

The event raises funds to further the charity’s mission of providing a home for families with sick or injured children.

“This event means the world to us because it equates to about a third of operating budget every year,” says Kierstin Eifler, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana. “More and more the needs of our families are growing, services are expanding, the cost of things is rising as we all know. And for us, the community being here and supporting us keeps our services at no cost to our families, which is the most important thing for us.”
