Kishtwar | : In an initiative to promote skill development and self-employment opportunities, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma today flagged off an exposure visit-cum-tool kit distribution program for trainees of Cutting & Tailoring and Crewel Embroidery Training Centers under the R&R Plan of the Hydro Electric Power Projects in the District.

A total of 60 trainees from two Cutting & Tailoring Centers at Bagna and one Crewel Embroidery Training Center at Padhyarna participated in the program, receiving tool kits to enhance their training and entrepreneurial prospects.

The trainees visited the Cutting & Tailoring and Fashion Designing Unit at ITI Kishtwar, boutiques in Kishtwar and Chinar Crewel Works Handicrafts Industrial Cooperative Society Ltd. Pohiee.
