A traffic stop in Burbank resulted in the arrest of two people and the recovery of more than $200,000 worth of stolen Apple products, authorities reported on Thursday.

The California Highway Patrol said officers were responding to a “be on the lookout” alert for a white cargo van suspected of carrying electronics stolen from a truck earlier in the day near Sparks, Nevada.

With assistance from a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department helicopter, CHP officers located the van around 3:40 p.m., traveling southbound on the 5 Freeway near Western Avenue, and pulled it over. Here, they found thousands of dollars’ worth of stolen Apple merchandise.

Both occupants in the van were arrested, authorities said.
