A Supreme Court Bench of Justices J.K. Maheshwari and N.V. Anjaria is hearing on Friday (October 10, 2025) a petition filed by Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) to appoint a former apex court judge to oversee the probe into the Karur stampede, which claimed 41 lives.
