The NYPD is searching for a man who they say stole a 7-year-old boy’s scooter near Marcy Playground in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Police said it happened around 5:30pm on Sept. 14 at the corner of Myrtle and Marcy avenues. Investigators say the man walked up to the child and snatched the scooter before taking off. “It’s very unfortunate. I’m surprised to hear that because we watch out for all children,” said neighbor Hector Bernardez. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn .
