SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Stu McCall, whose daughter was one of three women who disappeared from Springfield more than three decades ago, died this week at age 82.
McCall’s daughter, Stacy McCall, vanished in June 1992 along with Sherrill Levitt and Suzie Streeter in a case that became known as the Springfield Three Missing Women. Their whereabouts remain unknown.
For more than 30 years, Stu McCall advocated for continued investigation into his daughter’s disappearance, working with law enforcement and keeping the case in the public eye. The three women disappeared from Levitt’s home on South Delmar Street, leaving behind purses, money, and personal belongings.
Services for McCall will be held on Friday at First and Calvary Presbyterian Church in Springfield. He is survived by his wife,
