Unai Emery earned a lot of praise for the tactical master-stroke which saw Aston Villa beat Burnley and register a fourth successive victory.
With goals at a premium for his team so far this season the Villa boss deployed Donyell Malen through the middle, as a striker alongside Ollie Watkins.
The pair combined well and Malen thrived, scoring two good goals in just his fourth start of the campaign.
"He felt like he was in the position to help exploit his qualities," Emery said afterwards.
Which begs the question why Villa haven't used him there more often, it's almost like Villa and Borussia Dortmund before them forget about his effectiveness in the role.
