New Delhi: U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gor and Deputy Secretary for Management and Resources Michael J. Rigas begin a five-day visit to India from October 9 to 14.

During the visit, the American officials will hold meetings with senior leaders of the Indian government. The agenda focuses on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing a wide range of strategic and developmental issues.

The U.S. State Department states that the trip underlines Washington’s commitment to deepening its partnership with New Delhi. Both sides are expected to explore new avenues of collaboration in security, trade, and technology while reaffirming their joint role in advancing a safer and more prosperous Indo-Pacific region.
