Inland Empire Community Foundation

A grant from The Sherman A. Smith and Lady F. Smith Charitable Gift Annuity, distributed via Inland Empire Community Foundation, will greatly benefit an upcoming capital project at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens.

"It's the latest support that we received from the Smiths," said Allen Monroe, CEO and president of the nonprofit. "They had been members of our organization going back almost to the very beginning when we were founded in 1970. They joined as members in 1975, and Sherman had been a member of our board of directors and integral into our development over the last 50 years."
