Ryan Murphy’s Monster has been confirmed for a fourth season with Netflix announcing a major update.

Subscribers can’t get enough of Charlie Hunnam in Monster: The Ed Gein Story which delves into the horrifying story of the 1950s murderer and grave robber who inspired films such as Psycho and Silence of the Lambs.

Series three of the true-crime anthology show went straight to Netflix’s number one spot in the charts and work has already started on season four.

Filming has begun on the next chapter of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s Monster franchise, this time focussing on female “monster” Lizzie Borden.

She will be brought to life by actress Ella Beatty who has been in Feud: Capote vs The Swans and If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. View 2 Images READ MORE : Netflix's The Perfect
