ASH FLAT, Ark. (KAIT) - It was a scary scene when a woman started choking at a restaurant in Ash Flat but a server rushed to help.

It was a normal shift on Sunday evening, Oct. 6 at the Artisan Grill. They were getting ready to close when the servers noticed something.

“It was quiet, we were getting ready to close. They were finishing up their food, but all of the sudden Kylie rushed out from behind the bar towards them and then Kayla rushed from across the room,” Katrine Thomas, one of the servers said.

A lady started choking and could not breathe. Another server, Kayla Lane jumped into action without any hesitation and started performing the Heimlich.
