Orgs to collaborate on new Camden revitalization effort

A well-kept home along an East Camden street is absolutely charming, with flags and flowers in its tidy front yard and figurines of puppies and bunnies on each of its front steps.

And then there's the twin next door.

Abandoned for years, its windows and door are boarded over and spray-painted with apparent tributes to a 2014 murder victim on the 2700 block of Mickle Street. "Da good die young," says a messages above a memorial of more than three dozen liquor bottles, now largely buried in weeds.
