A woman from Kolkata was hauled up by passengers on a local train after allegedly threatening others with pepper spray when she failed to get a seat.

The incident occurred at Sealdah station, and a video shared by Instagram user Amrita Sarkar has gone viral on social media.

Describing the “dangerous experience” in the caption of her post, Sarkar said that the woman in a green kurti got into an argument with another passenger over seating arrangements.

When she was unable to secure a seat, she pulled out a can of pepper spray and attempted to spray it in the other passenger’s face. When another woman tried to intervene, the woman became more aggressive, spraying pepper spray across the train compartment.
