School board gets closer to requiring government ID to speak at meetings

The Frederick County Board of Education on Wednesday inched closer to approving an updated version of its meetings policy that would require public speakers at meetings to provide government-issued identification.

The policy is not finalized, and it will come before the full board again before approval.
