Carol J. Balaz, of Batavia, N.Y., passed away Oct. 3, 2025 after a lengthy illness. A lifelong sports enthusiast, she enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills, and most dear to her heart was watching all her grandkids play sports.

She loved cooking for her family and friends and always talked about the next meal she was going to make. She was a proud 1963 Notre Dame Alumni.
