Finnish entrepreneur Thomas Zilliacus has revealed his plans to approach investors in a bid to buy Manchester United , expressing interest in collaborating with co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and other backers.
Zilliacus was among the many who submitted bids for the club in 2023 when the Glazer family announced they were open to either a full or partial sale of United. However, his fan-led approach came too late , and Ratcliffe's Ineos ended up buying a nearly 30% stake and taking control of footballing operations.
