They have scored a lot of points and not given up many, but are the Big 12's most penalized team. They play their conference homer opener and reach the midpoint of their regular season Saturday night against 4-2 Kansas. Despite being penalized more than 76 yards per game, Tech is second among FBS teams averaging 48.6 points a game, and fourth giving up only 11.2 points per game.
