A retired government employee, Kambhampati Srinivasa Rao, who is undergoing treatment for heart-related ailments, made a heart-rending appeal to the State government to clear his pending retirement benefits.

In a message on social media, he also appealed to employees, JAC leaders, and officials to help him, saying, “I am waiting for retirement benefits as my life is hanging

between life and death.”

He also attached his photo taken in a hospital ward.

Srinivasa Rao, who worked as a superintendent in Kothagudem Government ITI, said that although he retired on March 31, 2025, he has not yet received the benefits related to GPF, PRC 2020 arrears, 300 days EEL (encashment of earned leave), DA arrears, and EL surrendered in 2024.
