An Upper Darby man has been charged with allowing his 11 dogs to bite Cinderella, a pitbull mix, to death while improperly housing the canine.
Brian Sealey, 48, of the 500 block of Littlecroft Road, has been charged with a count of aggravated cruelty to animals, seven counts of cruelty to animals and over 20 counts of neglect of animals involving shelter and vet care.
According to the criminal complaint filed by Hayden Carroll, a sworn Humane Society Police Officer with the Pennsylvania SPCA, he was contacted on June 11 by Upper Darby Township Animal Control Officer Gerwayne McElaney about a row home in the township where multiple canines were housed on a rear porch, with one of them being deceased.
