BBC Breakfast hosts announce sad news on air after Bristol star's dementia diagnosis View 3 Images

BBC Breakfast presenters Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt delivered some poignant news to viewers on Friday morning, concerning football supporters living with dementia.

During the segment, guest Adron O'Connor became emotional and broke down in tears on two occasions. Opening the piece, Naga said, "22 minutes past six is the time.

"Last night, a group of football fans living with dementia walked on the pitch alongside the players at Wembley before the friendly between England and Wales."

Charlie added: "It's part of a partnership between the Football Association and Alzheimer's Society to raise awareness of the condition. Our reporter Tim Muffett was there as the action got underway,"
