Sandy Liang is no stranger when it comes to collaborations. She’s done them with Wildflower on iPhone cases, Beats on headphones, and Salomon on sneakers — and now, the Gap. Inspired by girlhood, this collaboration will have 21 womenswear pieces along with four children’s pieces, and prices range from $15 for a clear plastic tote bag to $268 for a reversible vegan-leather sherpa jacket . What we appreciate most about this collab are the accessible price points. Whereas Sandy Liang prices are significantly more expensive, these garments are more cost-effective and still have the touches (bows, cropped fit, etc.) that we love from the designer.
The announcement, celebrating Liang’s New York upbringing, was anything short of whimsical. It was brought to life via a short film animate
