KANNUR: A 36-year-old woman set herself ablaze at Karivellur in the district. The dead is Neethu (36), wife of C Jayan, a construction worker. She set herself ablaze Friday morning at 10 am after sending her children to school. Her neighbours saw her lying on the courtyard with serious burns. She was soon rushed to Pariyaram Medical College Hospital, but her life could not be saved.
