BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Deputies shared on Thursday that they are investigating an early morning structure fire at a shopping center.

According to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, the fire broke out at 3:41 a.m. at the Caribou Village Shopping Center in the Town of Nederland.

A deputy on routine patrol saw the fire and immediately notified dispatch. Nederland Fire Rescue, along with multiple assisting agencies, responded to the scene.

An evacuation order was issued at 4:28 a.m. for residents and businesses along the southern and western portions of Barker Reservoir. An all-clear message was issued at 9:47 a.m.

Deputies say the two-story structure of businesses along the south side of the shopping center was fully engulfed in flames and sustained the most significant damage.
