One acronym has become popular with Southern in recent weeks.

Those three things are what the staff and players for Southern (1-4, 0-1 SWAC) believe are central to resolving the issues that have plagued them thus far. When it travels to face Bethune-Cookman (2-4, 1-1) at 2 p.m. Saturday at Daytona Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida, the Jaguars know that to actualize that acronym, it needs to cut down on turnovers and penalties on both sides of the ball.
