(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota State Water Commission has approved 75-million-dollars in funding for water development projects across the state. Commissioners met this week to approve the funding that enhances municipal, rural, and regional water supply systems. The Garrison Diversion Conservancy District will receive over 73-million-dollars after being approved for two requests to support its leading efforts on the Red River Valley Water Supply project. Other areas included the City of Medora, the Walsh Rural Water District, and the City of McVille, with funds ranging from 111-thousand to 939-thousand-dollars for their respective projects.
